Where is the World at with Clean Energy?

Although renewables should not run out and the fact they we are replanting and growing biomass and wood for new fuels should then absorb the emissions that are creating by burning these fuels, it is still not the neatest method of producing energy. With wood and biofuels there is still lots of pollution and emissions being released that then need to be cleared up, plus lots of agricultural land is used for this fuel production instead of food.
